These Mississippi raised, identical triplet sisters (Nika, Natalie, and Nicole) AKA Red Roots, have stayed true to their southern roots. They couldn’t help picking up instruments like the guitar, banjo, violin, drums, mandolin, bass, and piano at an early age from being inspired by bands like the Dixie Chicks and the high energy music of Shania Twain. Since forming Red Roots, the sisters have toured throughout the U.S., Canada, and Norway at over 1000 different venues which include sharing the stage with Josh Turner, Charlie Daniels, Amy Grant, Diamond Rio, High Valley, Ray Stevens, Don Williams, and Michael W. Smith. Their high energy stage performance is as fiery as their red hair. The blend of pop and grass comes through in the fresh country sound with a mix of subtle sass and honey sweet lyrics. Of course this is paired with three part harmony that only triplets could have.
After moving to Nashville, their studio album “Triplicity” was nominated for “Country Album of the Year” for the Dove Awards. Making waves performing at major festivals and “The American Bible Challenge” tv show (hosted by Jeff Foxworthy), having Sirius airplay, and gaining social Media buzz, Red Roots caught the attention of InPop records signing the girls in 2016. Writing songs, honing in on their instrumentation and vocals is gearing the girls up for their upcoming Country Album.
